These vehicles respond to major incidents and when special assistance is needed.
Special assistance can be needed at vehicle accidents, major fires, car in the water, drownings, railroad and chemical hazards. etc. etc.
The WCFB has 14 support units for different tasks ranging from transporting persons/equipment to Hazmat units..
Supply truck 76-50
This truck is a 4x4 and used to transport any of the trailers to an emergency. It has couplers on the front and back.

This truck is a 6x4 and used to transport any of the containers with special equipment to an emergency.It has a hookarm system to pick up the containers.

Support van 76-52
This VW-transporter van is for traffic support for road-accidents and large incidents. It carries special equipment for road closure and cleaning roads after accidents. Also a large arrow-sign with flashing blue-lights, is mounted on the roof which can be controlled from the cab.

Diver-support pickup 76-53
This pickup-truck is for diver-support and search & rescues on the lakes and rivers. It is combined with trailer 76-115 and boat 76-205. This unit carries a large mount of equipment for the S&R and diver support and is stationed at the Harbour fire-station.

Support van 76-54
This new Mercedes-sprinter van carries extra oxygen-tanks, a portable generator with compressor to refill empty oxygen-tanks and also a variety of tools and radio's. A small lighting unit is mounted on the roof which can be controlled from the cab.
This van is dispatched too larger fires and/or when 2 or more vehicles are called out.

Hazmat truck 76-58
This new hazardous materials truck is designed by the Kyola based manufacturer: Legoworks. It will be stationed at HQ and operated in coördination with KFRS' Hazmat units. It carries a variety of equipment to deal with hazardous materials and protecting fire-fighters.
TYPE: Scania P124GB6x4NA340 with Legoworks body.
EQUIPMENT: Waste drums, cleanup gear, hazmat suits, air cascade system to refill BA bottles, small supply of parts to make repairs in the field and lighting units.
