WCFB-Fire stations
The most important item for any Fire brigade, are the Fire stations. They function as a home for the firefighters and the equipment. The firefighters stay here on their duty for 24hrs. Each station has sleeping-, cooking-, recreational facilities (Except at Station 3).
The WCFB has 11 Fire stations at this point. The first central-Fire station was opened in 1980 and is still in operation today.
Headquarters is based in central-Westland city and houses the Fire chiefs office, six vehicle bays, 2 helicopter landing pads, dispatch and administration & personnel. Station 2 is based near the harbour and constructed in 2003. It replaced the old fire station of Naaldwijk Fire Brigade, which was outdated and to small. The new Harbour Fire station has been finished and was officially opened in October 2004 by the Major and the Fire Chief. This new station is located at the docks and build together with a new Police station. It houses the crew of the Fire AND Police ships/tenders, has 2 main docks and a helicopter landing pad. When the merger is official the WCFB will become the owner of the 3 former Maashaven FD fire stations too.
Fire Station 1 / Headquarters
The backbone of the WCFB. HQ houses all the main elements of the WCFB, Fire chiefs office, Admin & Personnel, Central dispatch, HazMat and support units, training facilities etc. etc.
Currently a new section is being build with 6 new vehicle bays (total amount will be 12) and a new helicopter pad, new sleeping quarters and offices.

Fire station 2
This station was build in 2003 on the site of the old station of the old, Naaldwijk Fire Brigade.
A very modern station with 3 vehicle bays, a dispatch center and a helicopter landing pad. The dispatch center has been removed and the first floor has been completely rebuild, to create larger sleeping quarters, more living room and storage space for the firefighters. New pictures will be released soon.

Fire Station 3
Build in 1980 next to the main motorway, as the first WCFB Fire station. It was called Station 1, until the construction of the new Headquarters started.
Station 3 is only staffed at daytime and the crews sleep at home.
At night time, units from other stations will be dispatched first and when needed, the crews for station 3 will be called to the station.
This station has only 2 vehicle bays and houses 4 units during day-shift and the OD-76101 and MD-7652 are being stationed at Station 2 during night shift. The dispatch office on the first floor is closed and has become the crew's day-quarters. On the ground floor there is a Departmental information office.

Fire Station 4
This is the newly-build Harbour station at the City docks of the Westland City International Harbour. It has been build in cooperation with the WCPD.
It houses the crew of the fire- and police ships, Marine divisions and diver-squads. The crews of the larger ships stay on their vessel during shift.
The station has a large Nautical-dispatch area, staffed by 2 WCFB and 2 WCPD personnel; combined sleeping quarters and rest area; storage facilities and separate main-receptions for both departments.
The station is equipped with state of the art electronics; emergency-generator; surveillance equipment and cameras; tools; light-units; Nautical & Air radar etc.
There are 2 manual-controlled water-guns on the docks for emergency situations.

Fire Station 5
Fire station located at the Westland City International Airport. It has 5 vehicle bays and houses the WCFB-Airport Fire division (AFd) and the WCFB-Air division(Ad). Inside the Station there is room for 9 units. The airplanes are dispatched by Central dispatch at HQ and the Fire trucks are dispatched by Airport Control Tower.
The AFd consists of 2 crash tenders and 3 general fire trucks The crews are stationed for 24hrs at the station and always on beeper-call. The station does not have it's own dispatch center, only sleeping quarters; rest and sports area; office; instruction room; garage;etc.
For the Ad there are always 2 pilots and 1 co-pilot/engineer on call, the others are only on duty at daytime and on standby at night time. The Ad has 1 spotter plane; 2 rescue helicopters; 3 firefighting helicopters and 1 medivac airplane.
Ad can always call on the coastguard for assistance and v.v. Also is the Ad on standby for immediate assistance for our neighbouring Fire Departments(Mutual Aid).No pictures available at this time.
NOTE: 1 Small helicopter is always stationed at Fire ship 76-201 and the pilot is also stationed on board this vessel.

Fire Station 6
This is a new station and is currently being constructed.
It will be a modern, 4 bay station with all necessary facilities.
The builder expects to finish construction the end of July 2007.
Fire Station 7
This is a renovated farmhouse located at the Interstate Highway 1.
It has 2 vehicle bays and will be permanently staffed. At night time, this station will turn out for Station 3 calls.

Fire Station 8 / Communication & dispatch
This is the renovated former Communications center of the LegoHills FD. This highly modern and sophisticated station has been bought from the LHFD and is refurbished and changed to WCFB specifications. Merged into the WCFB it has been renamed Station 8 and will house the main dispatch & communications center and it's personnel. for both the Fire brigade and the Ambulance services.
All personnel. have been transferred from the former WCFB Headquarters to this new facility.

Fire Station 9
The renovated former Station 6 of the LegoHills FD. This station has been bought from the LHFD and is completely reserved as it was. Merged into the WCFB it has been renamed Station 9 and will house several support units, our large ladder truck, 2 units form the AD with their support and 2 large pumpers. Station 9 will provide coverage for the whole area and especially the Westland City outskirts and Industrial estates.
This station has a garage for maintenance and repairing our units and a control tower for the air units.

Fire Station 10
The former Station 1 (Center) of the Maashaven FD. This station has been added to the WCFB due to the merger between the 2 FD's. Merged into the WCFB it has been renamed Station 10 and will house 2 engines, 2 support units and a ladder truck. Station 10 will provide coverage for the whole of Maashaven and Westland City aswell as provide Mutual aid to neighbouring FD's.
This is a single bay station, with crew quarters, living space and offices on the first floor above the vehicle garage.
The newly bought HV-7664 and OD-76104 will replace 2 old units currently stationed there.
