WCFB - Standard Operating Procedures
The WCFB has standard operating procedures (SOP's), such as they are layed down by the Ministry of Domestic affairs, under which every Fire Brigade resides. Each Fire Brigade has to keep to these SOP's, but is allowed to set the minimum requirements higher.
These SOP's lay down specific requirements for what kind and number of units must respond to a specific type of incident and in what time frame they need to be able to arrive at the scene. Here you can find what the basic SOP's are for the WCFB in type and number of units responding to specific incidents. The WCFB always dispatches AB and GM/VD (Fire Care Unit) units to larger incidents, where more than 3 units and/or when an incident is expected to run for a long period of time.
