On this page the WCFB presents pictures of our main fire engines. These vehicles will be the first to respond and carry a variety of equipment, ranging from waterhoses to technical equipment. Every engine has a large water tank and a pump, so they are self-supporting.
At this point, the WCFB has 19 main pumpers for the City and 3 main pumpers for the Airport (pictures of them, can be found in the Airport Fire engines section).
Fire engine 76-14
First-call fire engine of the WCFB. This engine has been completely refitted with a new body and equipment.
The old version was out-dated and thus the change, new and larger pump-unit, larger water tanks, more storage cabinets and carrying more and the latest equipment.
Due to it's off-road capabilities, can also be used for forest fires.

EQUIPMENT: 2000L water, 200L foam, NH30 combination high/low pressure water pump at max. 2400L/min., high- and low pressure hoses, rescue equipment.
Fire engine 76-15
This fire engine is stationed at Station 3. It has no ladder, but is fitted with rescue equipment. This engine responds primarily to traffic-accidents and as last unit to major fires.

Fire engine 76-16
This new fire engine is designed by the WCFB specifically for traffic accidents, this due to our specific needs, which could not be met by the LEGOŽ Fire Department.
The engine is a pumper equipped with a high-pressure hose set and extra specialized equipment for dealing with traffic accidents(like the jaws of life). A set of intakes is mounted to be hooked up to additional units like the 76-37 or 76-34.
This engine responds primarily to traffic-accidents and as last unit to major fires.

Fire engine 76-18
First Quick Response fire engine of the WCFB. This new type of engine, is used in rush hour and to very critical emergencies.
This unit has been refitted just as and due to, the success of unit 76-24.
Because of it's speed and small size, it can respond faster than the normal trucks.

EQUIPMENT: 800L water, NH10 high pressure water pump at max. 2400L/min., breathing apparatus, specialized equipment (like the jaws of life) and first aid equipment. An intake is mounted to be hooked up to additional units like the 76-37 or 76-34.

Fire engine 76-20
Special Fire & Rescue engine. This engine can move on train rails with it's special wheels, to get close to rail-accidents, especially on remote locations, where Rescue and Fire vehicles cannot get close to the tracks. This unit will also respond to other Rescue and Fire calls, but only as last vehicle, it's primary function is for train-/rail-accidents and/or fires.

A main fire engine of the WCFB. It responds first to all calls and together with the 76-23 these units.
were the first units to have some extra storage compartments and a central computer, from which all equipment can be used and monitored.

Fire engine 76-24
Second Quick response fire engine of the WCFB. This is a modified version of the old-engine number 76-18.
Because of it's speed and small size, it can respond faster than the normal trucks.

Fire engine 76-25
Special Fire & Rescue engine. This engine is almost the same as the 76-20, but it can't move on rails. This unit will respond mainly to Rescues and MVA's and as last vehicle to large fires.
